Dean's Message

Martin RuddWelcome to the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac - a beautiful campus located near the foot of Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake.

I invite you to visit our campus, browse our Viewbook or read our annual Report to the Community. You will find that we offer the educational experiences of a small liberal arts college combined with the world-class resources of the University of Wisconsin, all at the lowest tuition in the UW System. Scholarships make attending here even more affordable and are available through the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation.

We award the Associate of Arts & Science degree and offer guaranteed transfer to four-year University of Wisconsin campuses throughout the state. UW-Fond du Lac students are well-positioned for transfer success, graduating at higher rates than any other transfer students. We also offer several bachelor's degree completion programs in partnership with UW System four-year schools.

College is more than a degree. At UW-Fond du Lac you'll find numerous student clubs and organizationsathletics and recreational opportunities; along with music, theater and visual arts programs. The Gottfried Prairie and Arboretum is also located on our campus and provides a unique outdoor classroom, walking trails and a living snapshot of the wildlife and native plants once common to the region.

With small classes and a dedicated faculty, we are committed to challenging you and encouraging you along the way.

We create opportunities. We foster possibilities. We know that every student deserves a chance to be successful. We are the U for You!

Sincerely,

Dr. Martin Rudd
