UW-Fond du Lac continuing education fall schedule now available
Highlights include one day travel excursions and personal enrichment courses
FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac continuing education department has published its fall schedule for learners of all ages.
Highlights of the fall schedule include one day travel excursions to “Chicago for a Day” on Saturday, Nov. 10, and “Cruise the Mississippi River Fall Colors Luncheon Trip” on Friday, Oct. 12.
New non-credit offerings in the area of personal enrichment include Contemplative Photography, Reiki for health care professionals, Food as Medicine and regular offerings of glass fusing courses, ACT Strategies Prep and more.
UW-Fond du Lac continues the Breakfast at the University series for area business professionals on Wednesday, Oct. 10. The topic for this breakfast is Public Speaking Refresher presented by Professor Kristi Wilkum.
Opportunities in youth athletics this fall include gymnastics and basketball skills. Continuing education’s philosophy in athletic programming is to emphasize quality over quantity, where all children have an equal opportunity to learn and develop. The coaching staff is committed to incorporating sportsmanship, teamwork and good health into the teaching of individual sports skills

The GEMS one day conference for girls in grades 6, 7 and 8 will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Marian University.
A wide array of non-credit online classes are also available through Continuing Education. Course topics range from Entrepreneur Boot Camp to Practical Math for the Workplace, Successful Survey Techniques, Advance Website Strategies and many more.
