UW-Fond du Lac to host Return to Learn Breakfast on July 18
Returning adult students invited to learn more about campus
A Return to Learn Breakfast for prospective adult students considering returning to school to begin or complete their college education will be held 7:30-9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, at UW-Fond du Lac, 400 University Dr.
Admissions advisors specializing in returning adult students will be on hand to provide an overview of UW-Fond du Lac and the University of Wisconsin System, offer tips and advice on how to afford college, review options for bachelor’s degree completion options available through UW-Fond du Lac and answer individual questions. Those interested may also apply for fall 2012 admission at the event.
UW-Fond du Lac offers day and evening courses for the Associate of Arts and Science Degree in the traditional classroom format or in a blended format combining face-to-face classroom time with an online component. Students can earn the associate degree with an “emphasis” in one of 20 different disciplines.
For those who have already earned an associate’s degree, UW-Fond du Lac has bachelor’s degree completion programs with UW four-year schools.
Tuition at UW-Fond du Lac is the lowest in the UW System. Returning adult students may be eligible to receive financial aid. The priority application date for fall 2012 admission is Aug. 15. Students interested in starting at UW-Fond du Lac this fall should talk with an advisor now.
There is no cost to attend the event, but pre-registration is requested for the breakfast. To sign up, call (920) 929-1122 or send an e-mail to fdlinfo@uwc.edu.
