The University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac has named students to the Dean’s List for the fall 2012 semester. Highest honors represent a grade point average of 4.00, high honors are awarded for a grade point average of 3.75 to 3.99 and honors are awarded for a grade point average of 3.50 to 3.74.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) awarded a $550 scholarship to Emily Chaltry of Fond du Lac High School. Presenting the scholarship were Valerie Graczyk, UW-Fond du Lac Continuing Education interim director and Dolores Mick, president of the Fond du Lac AAUW.
Dr. Eric Boos with Sister Helena Ntambulwa, a Catholic nun who he and his wife sponsored to attend Edgewood College in Madison from 2000 to 2004. She is the director of the albino home in Lamadi, Tanzania, and takes care of 30 albino children and some handicapped children.
