StrongWomen, Strong Bones Strength Training

Want to get fit? Join this safe, effective, evidence-based strength training program designed by Dr. Miriam Nelson of Tufts University. It helps middle-aged and older women build muscle, strengthen bones, prevent frailty, improve balance and increase overall physical and mental health.  Booster Pack option included for returning students that are ready.  Space is limited.  Participants are required to obtain and sign proper paperwork before the first class.  (Offered in partnership with FDL County UW-Extension.)

Winter 2017 (Registration begins December 5, 2016)

Session 1: Mondays and Wednesdays, January 4 – March 1

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
  • Location: UW-Fond du Lac Campus

Session 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 3 – March 9

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • Location: Founders Hall, (on K across from St. Mary Springs)

Spring 2017 (Registration begins March 20, 2017)

 Session 1: Mondays and Wednesdays, April 17 – June 21

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
  • Location: UW-Fond du Lac Campus

Session 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 18 – June 22

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • Location: Founders Hall, (on K across from St. Mary Springs)

Fee: $45 per person
