Want to get fit? Join this safe, effective, evidence based strength training program designed by Dr. Miriam Nelson of Tuff’s University. It helps middle aged and older women build muscle, strengthen bones, prevent frailty, improve balance and increase overall physical and mental health. Each participant should supply: comfortable clothes,
athletic shoes, floor mat or towel, water bottle, ankle weights (adjustable up to 10pounds each, 20 pounds total), hand weights (a pair each weight level) 3 pounds and 5 pounds. Space is limited. Participants are required to obtain & sign proper paperwork before the first class. Fee: $40 or $45 with Booster Pack (April 24 session)

*StrongWomen Strength Training Booster Pack is meant to supplement your existing
StrongWomen program and is not meant to be done as a single program. Adding new exercises keeps muscles challenged and will help you improve your strength level. The exercises are divided into three categories: lower body, upper body, and core, using a combination of singlejoint and multi-joint exercises.

Beginning Adobe Photoshop

Step into the world of Adobe Photoshop. Learn about the creative functions available to you with Adobe Photoshop. Learn to control image size for print and email, and learn to use layers, levels, selections, filters, effects, clone tool, magic wand and more. We will also cover how to crop and how to edit your photos to a beautiful black and white and sepia tones. Please bring a flash drive to class. Chose ONE section. Fee: $59 REGISTER

American Tribal Style Belly Dance
10 Mondays, June 4 – August 13

Whether you have an interest in dance, you’re tired of the gym or just curious, this course will add a bounce to your step! Begin with a brief history to learn how traditional and contemporary styles of this age old art combine to create movement full of beauty and grace. ATS (American Tribal Style) is a low-impact dance form. Learn introductory skills that become more intricate is the course progresses. Improve your posture and increase your confidence! Build coordination and core strength while learning simple isolations. Learn about ATS costuming. Don’t be shy; all shapes and sizes are welcome. Women only please. Hip scarves and zills encouraged, but not necessary. Please dress comfortably. No class July 2. Fee: $49 REGISTER

Glass Fusing I
4 Mondays, May 7 – June 4
5:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Be part of the fun and learn about the rediscovered art of glass fusing. See how two or more
layers of glass become one after kiln firing. In this four-week course you will complete three fused
glass projects including a hanging mobile and your own bowl or plate. You will gain complete
knowledge of the kiln firing process and understanding of glass cutting, grinding, and
assembling techniques. This is the most comprehensive glass fusing class found anywhere. And,
it is taught in a casual and relaxed environment, so bring a friend or two and get ready to cook up
some fun! Pre-requisite: none. This is an excellent class for beginners. All tools, equipment, and materials are supplied. Note: This course is a prerequisite to Glass Fusing II and Fused Glass
