Much younger students will be in the classrooms at UW-Fond du Lac during two upcoming summer youth programs – College for Kids and LEAPS. The registration deadline for these programs is July 10 and limited openings remain.
College for Kids will be held July 17-20 for Grades 5-8 and LEAPS will be held July 24-27 for Grades 2-4.
College for Kids offers courses that focus on chemistry, French, robotics, video game programming, art, archaeology and more.
LEAPS students will be conducting chemistry experiments, cooking (and eating) around the continents, learning French and sign language, sculpting and more.
UW-Fond du Lac’s Continuing Education Office is celebrating 27 years of bringing these week-long, hands-on active learning programs for highly motivated and talented students to the area.
“College for Kids and LEAPS offer something for every student to enrich their learning through creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication in areas that interest them,” said Gina Rieder, youth programs coordinator for UW-Fond du Lac Continuing Education.
