Foundation Board of Directors Named

Foundation Board of Directors OfficersFollowing member elections held at the recent annual meeting of the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac Foundation, the 2016-2017 Board of Directors has been announced.

Officers elected are (pictured left to right): Mike Palomaki, vice president, Mercury Marine; Kathy Loppnow, treasurer, Michels Corporation; Dina Schultz, president, Society Insurance; Adam Wunderlin, secretary, J.F. Ahern Co.

Board members are James Bintley, Grande Cheese Company; Joe Braun, Fond du Lac Area Foundation; Steve Franke, Schenck SC; Darin Garbisch, C.D. Smith Construction; Paisley Harris, faculty, UW-Fond du Lac; Jack Heil, emeritus faculty, UW-Fond du Lac; Kathy Henslin, Georgetown Cleaners/In Stitches Embroidery; Marty Ison-Kocos, Advance NPO Solutions; Brian Jones; Sandra Karst, Agnesian Healthcare; Rebecca Loehr, Society Insurance; Elaine Riedel, Secura Insurance; Bob Sippel, Mid-States Aluminum; Dan Sprader, Edward Jones; Deb Springborn, Foy & Springborn, S.C.; Joe Tasch, Nielsen.

Ex-officio members are Dr. Martin Rudd, regional executive officer and dean, UW-Fond du Lac; Allen Buechel, Fond du Lac County Executive; Bethany Rusch, regional associate dean for administration and finance, UW-Fond du Lac; and Jerry Donohue, retired attorney, UW Board of Visitors representative.

“Outgoing board members, Steve Uecker and Sam Barnhart, will be greatly missed. They have both been kind enough to continue helping with Corks and Forks, our signature fundraiser, which will be held again on March 30, 2017,” said Rhonda Stucky, executive director of the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation. “We’re excited about the future and working with new board members, James Bintley and Elaine Riedel, who bring new talents and enthusiasm to the board.”

The mission of the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation, Inc. is to promote excellence at UW-Fond du Lac while enhancing the educational and cultural activities available on its campus. Its primary objectives are to provide scholarships for students and professional development opportunities for faculty and staff and to help improve available resources.
