The ceremony will be followed by a reception in our University Center Commons, where you can enjoy light refreshments and be congratulated by your professors, family, friends and guests.

Important Commencement Dates

Thursday, May 21, 2015 - Commencement Day!

5:30 pm - Required rehearsal for students in Prairie Theater. Check in by 5:15 pm at the table in the University Center Commons. All participating graduates are required to attend rehearsal. Please park in the North Lot so the East Lot is open for family and guests.

6:30 pm - Doors to Prairie Theater open for guests attending ceremony

6:30 pm - Group photo in the Library for graduates, faculty and staff ONLY

7:00 pm - Commencement Ceremony begins in Prairie Theater

Reception in Commons following Ceremony

Graduation Application: If you intend to graduate this spring or upcoming summer, you must complete the Graduation Application by March 13. This form is required and can be picked up in the forms display rack outside of the Student Affairs office.

Order Cap and Gown: Final Day to order your cap, gown and tassel from the Campus Store. Students who miss the deadline will not be able to participate in the ceremony. The cost is $28.95 plus tax for students. Faculty and staff regalia pricing is available by contacting the Campus Store. Contact the Campus Store at (920) 929-1376 or

You will need to pick up your order from the Campus Store during regular business hours between May 19-20. Ironing or steaming the gowns is your responsibility.

Sudent Speaker Nominations: Nominations for the Commencement student speaker are welcome from any faculty, staff or student who knows of a graduating student that has an inspiring story to tell or can serve as a positive role model for their peers.
